Our Staff

Our preschool program is licensed with Alberta Family and Social Services. Our provincial licensing officer noted at our last surprise inspection: “Program director has an impressive knowledge and experience history with regard to child care. Program staff well versed in children’s developmental needs. Program supports learning through play in a nurturing, supportive environment.”

Since our preschool is closed at present, Mrs. Chandler is taking registrations for virtual preschool, offered in the form of one-to-one half hour weekly or bi-weekly skype sessions that utilize story, song, games, and art to facilitate pre-kindergarten learning, and enable the teacher to adapt to each individual child.  Young children learn best interactively through play.  Children 3 – 6 who are learning English or would benefit from a reading/printing buddy are welcome.  Email her at [email protected] or visit mrschandlerteaches.wixsite.com/abcs for more information.

Each staff person holds:

  • a provincial Child Development professional certificate
  • a current vulnerable sector police check
  • a certificate in Standard Child Care First Aid, along with training in CPR and AED
  • a university degree
